I’m often asked by podcast listeners this question: If I listen to all the episodes on the “Get it Right with Undercover Architect” podcast, will it be enough for my project?
And so, in answer to this question, I share what you really need to know here.
This is episode 245, and in it, I’m going to be discussing this podcast and one of the common questions I get about it, especially from homeowners who are considering what other support and education they need in their projects.
This question I get is this: “Is the “Get it Right with Undercover Architect” podcast all I need for my project?”
This particularly comes up for homeowners who are considering joining my flagship online program, HOME Method, and they’ll often get in touch to ask me: “How is the program different to the podcast? And if I listen to all of the podcast episodes, will I get what you teach in the program?”
So, I’m going to take some time to share some information on this. If you’ve been considering whether you need further education and information for your project, you’ve been wondering whether joining one of my online courses, and particularly HOME Method, will be useful for you, then stay tuned.
As I said upfront, I often get questions about whether the podcast is sufficient for your learning when it comes to being fully prepared for your renovation or new build project.
It makes sense. If you can listen to the 240 plus episodes here, and all that is shared, then you’ll have a huge wealth of knowledge for your own project.
And that is the promise of the podcast. It’s why I created it. It’s why I keep doing it. It’s why it’s free.
Because Undercover Architect is all about levelling the playing field and giving you access to great know-how and industry info, to help you get it right when renovating or building your family home.
And there’s loads of you listening for whom I know that is the case. We will never meet. I will never see your site or home. You will never join HOME Method or buy any of my other online courses. And yet, what you have learned here has changed or shaped your home and your project experience in some way.
It really blows my mind that this podcast does help so many in that way. And if that’s you, if you’re only here for what you get from listening to the podcast for free, then can I ask a small favour please? Well, two actually.
Firstly – please leave a review and rating on itunes for the podcast so that others know it’s helpful. And secondly, please ensure you tell all of your friends about Undercover Architect.
I remember very early on in my business having someone telling me that positioning myself as people’s ‘secret ally’ may become a self-fulfilling prophecy, in that no one will know about me, and it’ll be hard to spread what I do!
So, let’s bust that myth wide open and ensure EVERYONE who is building or renovating knows there’s help here on Undercover Architect – and of course, you play a really important role in making that happen!
However, if you are someone who is listening, and wondering “Is this podcast all I need?” or “If I listen to all the podcast episodes, will I get what’s in the courses anyway, and especially HOME Method”, I want to say this to you.
The podcast is good. But it’s not that good!
There is loads I don’t teach here. Whilst there is A LOT of information in these episodes, there is also a lot that is NOT here, that is still essential to any project journey, and enabling you to create success in your own renovation or new build.
Success in your experience, and success in the outcome in your future home.
So, I thought I’d share some of the reasons that simply relying on the podcast as your guide for your renovation or new build, differs from becoming a member of my flagship program, HOME Method.
I’ve got six main reasons (plus a bonus seventh), so let me take you through them in this episode.
If you’ve been sitting here, listening to lots of Undercover Architect podcast episodes, and wondering “is the podcast all I need for a successful project and a great home?” I have this to say …
Firstly, thank you for listening. I love that you’re here, and investing time and effort in improving your knowledge and getting ready for your project. I’m so grateful that you tune in and come here to learn and gain knowledge to help you with your reno or new build.
And secondly, if you’d like more guidance, a proven framework to follow, and the support of a community and me to help you save time, money and stress as you renovate or build your home – then please check out HOME Method – because it will provide you with all of that over and above what is here on the podcast.
